Community Outreach Programs

As part of our company mission, SCD strives to be an active member of our community by taking our services outside of the office. We have two mobile units fully equipped for dental screenings and/or emergency treatment that we bring to schools, health fairs, block parties, any event where we can engage with the community and educate about children’s dental health.

Educational Workshops

Our team loves to visit schools and teach our patients about dental health. Our school services include an educational workshop for the students, a dental screening with feedback for the parents and the school as well as a small gift bag all free of charge! Contact us if you would like us to schedule services at your school, pre-school and more!

Community Events

Hosting a health fair? A block party? Let us know! We would love to attend! With our two mobile units we are always ready to bring our services outside of the office.

In Office Tours

Interested in a group tour and shadowing a doctor or a hygienist? Perhaps you know some youngsters interested in dentistry? Let us know! We love to have groups visit our office and learn about what happens behind the scenes. Girl Scouts, student groups…. reach out we can schedule a day filled with behind the scenes fun.

Missions

SCD is committed to children’s dental health not only in our local community of northern New Jersey but also overseas. Our very own Dr. G and other SCD team members have traveled all over the world for mission trips bringing care to children in need in countries like: Guatemala, Uganda, Kenya, Panama, and Bolivia.
